Q. Who do I contact when I notice a street light out?

Q.  Some streets have lights every few homes.  My street does not.  Is this in the works?

A.  Not at this time.  The 3 year light lease on the lights which were installed in 2007 expires in early 2010.  Around that time, the then Board of Directors may revisit lighting.  If you wish to have additional lights installed on your street please contact a Member of the Board of Directors towards the end of 2009 or early 2010.

Q.  What happens when the current 3 year light lease is up?

A.  After the lease ends, Duke Energy will still own the lights, but they will be responsible for the maintenance and up keep of them.

It is estimated the monthly fee for energy consumption for each light will be around $6 per light/month.
